MD Forest Service: Prescribed Fire Burn Boss
Sustainable was contracted to serve as the Prescribed Burn boss on a 110 acre prescribed burn located on the Chesapeake Forest Project lands. The goal of this burn was to reduce hazardous fuels and encourage an open, herbaceous understory. Sustainable coordinated fire crews and equipment from the Maryland Forest Service and Americorps to help conduct the burn.
